AuthorHouse UK Author Rudolf Hartong, born in 1947, was educated in human resources and worked in The Netherlands as an HR professional until 1988. After that, for the following twenty-four years, he and his family (five children) lived in seven countries, where they encountered and experienced different cultures, religions, and situations which changed their lives. Retired in 2012, after forty years, of which twenty-two were in human resources and eighteen were in general management, he observed some fundamental changes in human resources that made him worried about the development of this profession.
