Chaulked Up to Bad After a 12 hour, all night shift, The only thing he wanted to lift Was the pillow he placed beneath his head For a too short slumber in his bed. Two kids waiting for grandma's car One kid's mind travels afar. One waiting silently just as told The other slips into bad behavior mode. Wondering what's inside this closet door, A mop, some soap and so much more. Discovering lotion for the very first time. It really makes for a wonderful slime. On the floor and the towels too, What else is in here for me to do. Ooh I found some petrolium jelly I like the feel and it's kind of smelly. I wonder what this stuff would do If I put it in one of my daddy's shoes. I know, Stanley needs to shine I'll rub it into his fir this time. The family cat won't care a bit It looks so good and he's just the fit. To wear the jelly proud and true He looks just fine and shines like new. Just then the silence woke the dad One more thing chaulked up to bad The little blonde in the closet sits With cat on her lap throwing a fit Not knowing whether to laugh or cry The dad just uttering a mighty sigh In walks grandma just in time To figure the cure for the created slime. Hot water shower for the cat and tot Scrubbing the victims means a lot Another plot foiled to end the day There's always tomorrow a night away.  Read More
