New AuthorHouse UK author Alexa Dixon gets romantic

AuthorHouse UK reviews continues with its policy of putting new self-published authors in the spotlight. Today we talk with Alexa Dixon about her debut novel, ‘Will They Meet’, and her views on the writing and self-publishing processes. Although Alexa claims to have no defined writing inspiration or muse, she grew up in an environment where the English Language was actively encouraged, especially by her father. In addition, reading was an integral part of Alexa’s life. Although Alexa’s reading tastes lean towards the mystery and political intrigue genres, she did say:

“Although being a woman a hint of romance always draws”.

Further to this on the whole issue of writing inspiration, Alexa feels that;
“Aspiring authors should only write when the words are in their heads rather than trying to force the mind to invent”.
