She then offered some advice to others thinking of self-publishing their books; “make sure you have a story that makes sense and has characters that will capture the imagination of your readers. Write more than you need to and edit it several times until the story is tight. A loose, overly long and unstructured tale will not be popular. It is also important to end each chapter on a cliff hanger to make the reader want to turn the next page. And the most important thing for self-published authors is to make sure you present a properly formatted, grammatically correct book with an eye catching front cover. You may have a great story but if your book is full of errors it will put readers off’.
