How to publish a book author Leigh Clarke, the author of the crime novel Puzzle of Suspects, returns to the world of fiction with The Lives and Adventures of Kate and Alec.
Overview
Clarke’s latest work unfurls to a story of romance where a couple born of the west and educated as journalists find life together in love of investigative and photojournalism. Their adventures take them around the world and back to the valley in the west where the Blue Mountains in the distance welcome them. It is a tale of Kate growing up in a western valley where she meets Alec as a new member of the high school’s jazz band transferring from a private school. She realizes he is the young boy she knew in grade school and the one from the rich family who lived in the large stone house on the bluff south of town. They graduate and go off in different directions with their journalism degrees, travelling the world and receiving merit for their work. They meet again and fall in love. The story covers the valley in the west from the time of pioneers and their families, both of their pioneer blood, the journalistic work of both Kate and Alec, their engagement, her kidnapping, and many more adventures along the way.

YOU'VE GOT RECIPES, a cookbook, provides 7 to 14 year-olds and on with easy cooking techniques performed by an illustrated cast of animals who live in San Francisco and Paris. Bilingual touches accent recipes the characters exchange by e-mail. Here’s what these famous chefs, who are parents, too, have to say about YOU’VE GOT RECIPES ALICE WATERS: “This charming little book teaches children the principles of real food, prepared fresh from the garden.” JACQUES PÉPIN: "Fun, straightforward, pragmatic and useful, YOU'VE GOT RECIPES is a great way to lure children into the kitchen, and to bring a child into the kitchen is to change his or her life forever for the better." WOLFGANG PUCK: "It’s never too early to start cooking with children (or teaching them French, for that matter). YOU’VE GOT RECIPES is more than a kids’ cookbook; it teaches them about ingredients and cooking techniques, but it never talks down, and the recipes will appeal to the entire family. I will certainly use Jerry and Françoise’s cookbook with my two young children; whether we begin with the Cheese Puffs or go right to the Éclairs, they’re going to have a ball, and so will I."

Overview
A French musical opens in London’s West End. While audiences see the final polished production, the inner mechanics of the show are revealed as a turbulent mix of personalities and ambitions. Through the individual voices and stories of the French and UK producers and performers, we glimpse the torrid and fascinating world of theatrical misbehaviour, the end of which is a performance. If you have ever wanted to be part of a West End production without having to attend the audition, this book will give you that experience. I have always been told ‘never disregard the little person, for they may be the recorder of one's history'. This is that record.

Overview
The major concern of this book is the power of God as it works in individual lives and in the church. It is attempting to show that it is not enough to believe something; it is also important to do act on what you believe

Alice in Reality | Trafford Publishing
Tell us about your book. My father once told me “to be a successful writer, one must write about what they experienced because that is the key to true emotion” and ever since then, that is exactly what I have been doing. My writing reflects and analyzes the choices I make not only as a being but as the roles I play. Born in Colorado but raised as a Russian, I have not only experienced nature’s beauty but also the livelihood of many cultures leading to my bold lifestyle. No one is ever too young to conquer the greatest limitations. They simply become rewards. For me, writing was not only a passion but also an extension of my being, for I feel as if the arts are the only true way to be freed.

Alice opens her eyes to look around the garage as she finished up her joint. The smoke began to mock images of Thomas. She can make out his face within the clouds. She watched his body form with it and he began to run, away from the smoke, away from her, until a second smoke strand caught up with him and tightened around his body, constricting more and more until Thomas was no more. Their night was gone but if Alice could, she would relive it. Maybe the Molly or maybe the weed but they both told her he was something extraordinary.

It is filled with stories regarding bands and entertainers I worked with, managed, and knew. I learned a lot of lessons over the years, from some very high-level entertainment businesspeople and artists that helped and inspired me in today’s business world. I hope you enjoy the book.

Overview
Sergei Zhukov was graduated from St. Petersburg University in Leningrad, Russia, and wanted to be a physicist. However, World War II was just starting, and the Germans were on the Russian doorstep. During a college project, he had developed a long-range bear-hunting rifle, and the Russian Army was interested in him and his ability to develop an even longer-range sniper rifle. He did so, and the Army High Command commissioned him to go out and follow the German SS Panzer divisions that were invading Russia and shoot as many of their high-ranking officers as possible. He was very successful. In three years, he was in many engagements, some lasting only one day and others lasting many months. He and his spotter and two wolf dogs lived off the land any way they could to survive. The German SS sent out hunters after him on many occasions. The German SS had also put an extremely large, ever-growing bounty on him. His response was to send back the bounty posters to the SS division commanders attached to the well-chewed SS hunters, with a message: “The Eye of the Wolf is upon you.” He became an enigma to the German SS and a folk hero to the Russians. His missions started at the Poland/Russia border and went on to Moscow. He was then sent to the Crimea, then Stalingrad. He then went back north to Leningrad, and each time, he engaged the German SS panzer divisions.
